In as little as three years there could be ROBOT nurses performing basic tasks such as mopping up spillages, taking messages and guiding visitors to hospital beds.
This sounds a great idea to us as these tasks done by robots then frees up time for human nurses to do the harder jobs.
The Photo shows a guide robot in a Japanese hospital, but EU scientists are developing the three-robot prototype system (The mechanised “angels”) which is said can be ready by 2010.
