Is this the iPhone Killer, Google Switch as one hell of a mythical phone and Google loves to spread itself around a bit with not only search but every other innovative product they can afford to get involved in (and they got a lot of money).
There has been a tipster claiming to have the scoop on Google Switch (say engadget), the Google phone is said to be a joint project with Samsung and the phone is rumoured to have GPS built-in for pinpoint navigation around Google Maps, a button-less touch screen and lots more besides.
Google are in a good position to build a phone that will then promote its other range of products like Google Maps, Gmail, Gtalk and much more…good idea Google.
