Home » Sites on Digg Front Page: Do all get flamed in the comments

One thing we have noticed on Digg is that most stories on the Digg homepage seem to get flamed in the comments.
You seem to need a thick skin and many people who love one thing whine about the opposite, to put this in perspective we have seen many people that love apple/Linux love to moan about windows (and visa versa).
This goes for many subjects but you would also be very wrong not to get involved in the comments if you submitted the news as we have also found many user comments useful as well.
What do you think, do most people slag of the stories in the comments?

  1. For something to hit the front page, it has to be something a lot of Digg users feel passionately about.

Usually, when a lot of people are passionately for something, a lot of other people are passionately against it, so front page articles almost always generate some friction.

Don’t rule out the jealously factor, though, as many Digg users submit articles that never hit the front page.
