Google’s open source team is working on ways to physically transfer huge data sets around the world (up to 120 terabytes in size).
What Google has been doing is sending a hard drive system to scientists but before they pass it to researchers they copy the data.
The program they are developing will help academics around the world exchange huge amounts of data.
