Kevin Rose has done the right thing by removing the Top Digger list to stop companies wishing to offer cash and other incentives to get Digg users to vote favourably for certain items

Created to recognize those who worked hard to make Digg useful, the Top Digger list was misused by companies wanting to profit.

Kevin Rose said “We’re not surprised that with the gaining popularity of Digg there would be some that would try to manipulate the system for a variety of reasons”.
