Many people make tech predictions about the up and coming technologies, what will take off, what will not and what future technology may come out.

Many people use online dating sites as their life’s are very busy and have not been able to get out and meet people or they are just too shy, well one such dating site has blown many people away because they say “Are you hot? If not, no use visiting this site”.

Smart Fabrics: Special Forces, Athletes and Diabetics

To monitor how US special forces cope during combat situations is a new technology (Smart Fabrics), at Cebit Zephyr showed everyone two very cool patented products, the shoe pod and a bio-harness.

The bio-harness is a length of fabric that is worn around the chest with sensors woven into it (a patented textile) and the shoe pod is a smart insole made with the same patented textile (read more…)

Cisco Buys WebEx
Cisco has acquired many companies over the years and now WebEx is Cisco’s 119th acquisition since 1993 and has cost Cisco Systems $3.2 billion in cash.

WebEx Communications is an online meeting company which is nothing to-do with Cisco’s core market and just goes to show again how Cisco is stepping into the lucrative arena of business communications (read more…)

A group of manufacturers, retailers and broadcasters are pushing ahead with a campaign to ensure universal availability of HDTV in the UK.

Viacom Lawsuit Could Cost Google $1bn Over YouTube

The users will say YouTube is the best thing since sliced bread but the media companies are singing a different tune and worried about loss of revenue and some are even taking it as far as to sue Google over YouTube.
