It is sad to say many do not backup their data enough and cry when they lose it saying “I wish I”.
One new and cool product as a backup solution is the Storage Central Turbo SC101T from Netgear that will backup your music, videos, photos and many other types of files in a flexible method at gigabit speeds (read more…)

BitTorrent Microprocessor
It’s called the STR9810/20 and this product from Taiwan’s IAdea & Star Semi say that it the world’s first BitTorrent-optimized microprocessor.
The plans are to put this microprocessor in consumer products that would need the BitTorrent service, and these include DLNA appliances, set-top boxes, DVD players, smart HDDs, NAS, wireless routers and a lot more.
SO not only does BitTorrent continue to reach out to more and more partners in the digital content world but it is not also making partnerships in the semiconductors world that power top consumer electronic devices.

World’s Fastest Hard Drive - Seagate 2.5inc Savvio 15K

Seagate 2.5inc Savvio 15K
The latest addition to the Savvio hard drive line smashes the original Savvio’s launch (the Savvio 10k.2 which run at 10,000-RPM with 147GB capacity ), the new baby of theirs is the Savvio 15K.

This new Seagate 2.5″ hard drive can run at 15,000 RPM but what really makes this news is that Seagate say it can go 10% faster than 3.5″ 15K-RPM drives (now correct me if I am wrong but that makes this hard drive the world’s fastest).

PCI Express turns 2.0

It’s here a faster second-generation version of the PCI technology, I have noticed on my computers over the last couple of years each new one I get has much faster PCI speeds. But this is something else altogether.
There is an improvement under development which has been needed to support power-hungry graphics cards.
People who need multiple virtual machines will love the new feature “called Input-Output Virtualization”.
This has been needed for some time as many other computer devices have been moving ahead and now it’s PCI Express time to take a step forward.
