Although Broadband Britain is speeding up their are many people who have been sold “up to 8Mbps” services and are still getting substantially slower connections.
I can comment on this first hand as many of my family have very slow connections on broadband for many different reasons.
The average UK broadband download speed is up from 512Kbps three years ago to now 2Mbps, these figures are based on more than a third of a million speed tests carried out by the website users.
